Accesshub is a Zimbabwean urban mobility, traffic and transport intelligence consultancy based in Harare, working on assignments across the country.
Who we are
We are engineers who work on the part of the built environment that people experience every day and rarely get to influence: how you get in, how you get out, how long it takes and whether it is safe.
Accesshub was founded to close a specific gap. Developments, road schemes and industrial sites in Zimbabwe are frequently approved, built and then lived with, without anyone having measured the movement they generate. Congestion, unsafe accesses and unworkable freight arrangements are the result, and by then they are expensive to fix.
We provide the evidence step that should come first. We observe, count, map and analyse, then set out what the numbers mean for the decision in front of you.

Our approach
Four steps, in this order
The sequence matters. Most weak transport advice comes from analysis that started before anyone established what decision it was meant to support.

Understand the decision
What has to be approved, funded, designed or defended, and by whom. This sets the scope and stops us over-studying.

Observe and measure
Site work: classified counts, turning movements, queue and delay observation, pedestrian activity, site geometry and constraints.

Analyse and map
Capacity and safety analysis, GIS and spatial work, scenario comparison, and testing of the options actually available to you.

Recommend and support
A clear written position with drawings and figures, plus support through the review, submission or approval that follows.
Why mobility intelligence matters
Every unmeasured access is a decision someone made without knowing the cost.
Mobility intelligence is simply the practice of knowing how a place moves before you change it, and continuing to know after you have. It turns arguments about traffic into questions with answers: how many vehicles, at what hour, turning which way, at what delay, with what risk to whom.
For a developer it is the difference between a conditional approval and a refusal. For a local authority it is the difference between allocating scarce road budget on evidence and allocating it on complaint volume. For an industrial operator it is the difference between a yard that clears its trucks and one that queues them onto a public road.
The data does not have to be exotic. Consistent, well-collected local observation, analysed properly and reported honestly, outperforms borrowed assumptions almost every time.
